About

A little introduction…

My name is Glen and I grew up in a little coastal town in Wales (UK) called Tenby. I studied in my hometown until I was eighteen years old focusing on subjects like computing and graphic design in my final years of sixth form. After this I decided to pursue graphic design and moved to Cardiff to study at the University of Glamorgan (now named the University of South Wales). I loved living in Cardiff as well as the the lifestyle and independence it provided as I was eighteen years old and moving out of my family home for the first time.

After finishing my studies there I decided to apply to work at a summer camp in America. I was the ropes director at a camp in Minnesota and was in charge of activities such as high and low ropes, climbing, zip line and bouldering wall.

Since university I have worked as creative director of a print studio (digital canvas and fine art) and in the summer camp industry amongst other roles and projects. I had such an amazing time at camp that I wanted to share my experience and help others heading to the US and Canada for their summer seasons. I am also an Independent Ambassador for Tropic Skincare. You will find more information in the menu and a link to my shop.

Thanks for visiting my website, this is just a small introduction into me. Please take a look at other pages including my blog for entries. Have a great day!

Be an optimist. Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticise others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger.

Meet Bailey…

I couldn’t finish this page without introducing my dog Bailey. He is so adorable and is my partner in crime when it comes to anything I post on this website and my social media as he is always by my side. He has his own Instagram account as well (yes, I have become one of those people). Click the photo above to check out his page and give him a follow.

Thank You
