Last weekend I went to London for the bank holiday and had a lovely time. When there I went to Leicester Square Cineworld to watch Avengers: Infinity War. I won’t be putting any spoilers in this blog post either so if you haven’t seen it you’re safe to read on!
4DX is available at select Cineworld locations around the U.K. and this is the third movie I have seen there. I first saw Wonder Woman with Zoe in Cardiff, then I saw Kingsman: The Golden Circle in Birmingham and last weekend Avengers: Infinity War. Seeing as I had been to 4DX screenings in the past I knew what to expect but my mum and Mark didn’t! They use seat movement, scents, water, wind, smoke, strobes, snow and more during the performance. It is all synchronised with the movie and it’s quite an experience! We also watched the 3D version of the movie so had glasses on as well as all the other features of 4DX.
The movie was fantastic. I really enjoyed the fact that there were so many characters including those from Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers (now with the addition of Spider-Man!) Lots of intense battle scenes (as you can probably tell from the title of the film) and amazing special and computer generated effects. It is a long film so be sure to grab yourself a drink and some snacks (maybe not in 4DX though or they’ll end up everywhere!)
In the Marvel universe I think a couple of my favourite characters have to be Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain America. It was great to see them at D23 last summer in California as well. They had SO many actors there it was nuts! Do you have any favourites?
