Busiest Week of the Year

I’m currently self-employed and primarily work for two companies in particular. One of these is Trade Canvas Print and Christmas is definitely the busiest time of year for us. We are in our final week now of orders before the cut-off passes and we close until January. I am keeping this blog post short and sweet and will be back to regular posts and email newsletters from next week onwards.

Favourite Song This Week…

Nothing Breaks Like a Heart – Mark Ronson ft. Miley Cyrus

We are working really long hours at the moment for production of photographic and fine art prints and canvases before Christmas. As you can imagine we have a lot of clients internationally and ship products throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland from our studio in Wales. I’m really impressed with how we are doing at the moment and the end is now in sight as the local order cut-off passed today and the website closes early next week.

‘Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.’

– Pele

Something I am really looking forward to is a trip I have planned for Christmas and New Years to visit my friends Adam and Michael in Virginia. It’s helping me get through all of the orders and as I mentioned above, the end is now in sight! What is quite nice is that when the website closes we are shut for two weeks before returning early January so I have made the most of this and am heading to the U.S.A.

My Current To-Do List…

  • Cuddle Bailey Lots
  • Laundry / Clean House
  • Pack Suitcase for USA Trip
  • Send Remaining Christmas Cards
  • Wrap Presents & Send Before Leaving
  • Drool Over Menu Options for Party (yum)!
  • Chill Bottle of Champagne (for when we close)!

I am heading to London on Wednesday before flying out on Thursday morning and I am probably going to sleep on the plane (which is extremely rare for me). I am feeling my eyelids getting heavier even as I am writing this blog entry so should probably head to sleep.

Bailey and the Christmas Tree…

On that note… I am going to leave it there. I have some scheduled posts coming your way for my blog and email newsletter when I am in the USA. I plan on switching-off and taking a bit of a break from things when I am away. Hope you are having a great week and are looking forward to the holidays! Thanks for reading.
