Erbology reached out to me about their plant-based, organic products to promote health using natural ingredients. If you have been following my blog for a while now you will know I have been eating a vegan diet since May 2018 and I have seen a huge improvement in my health and energy levels since then. I really believe that how you fuel your body is so important and I was thankful that Erbology was able to provide me with a selection of their products to try and review.
Hi everyone! Hope you are well. Today we have the third of the blog posts I drafted back in January where I wanted to review new vegan options in the UK. This one is for the Pizza Hut Vegan Pepperoni option. This one took me a little longer to get to at the start of 2020 as none of the Pizza Hut restaurants around my in Birmingham delivered to my address. I think I managed to get a delivery partner like Uber Eats, Deliveroo or Just Eat to deliver this one thankfully so I didn't have to walk from the city centre to my apartment before trying it.
Hi everyone! Hope you are well. We have another drafted blog post from January today and I wanted to update it and post it regardless of it being about six months late to the game. So KFC has joined the likes of Greggs and other food chains in offering a vegan option in their restaurants. I use to eat KFC myself before I adopted a vegan/plant-based diet in May 2018 (wow, I can't believe it has been over two years now)! My family tend to visit KFC on occasion and I never ate anything if I was going with them as even KFC's fries are cooked in the same oil as the meat unfortunately so the most I would get would be a soft drink.
Greggs have done it again. 2020 has brought us the vegan steak bake and this was another crowd pleaser by the sounds of it. I have to say I am really impressed and I enjoyed the pasty very much. It's not something that I go for too often as too much pastry isn't good but it's nice to have an alternative treat to a sausage roll if I visit Greggs in the future.
I visited Richmond in Virginia, USA over the Xmas and New Years break. I was there visiting my friends Adam and Michael and we visited plenty of restaurants and cafés. I wanted to post about this in a separate blog entry as there were so many meals I wanted to speak about. I have been eating a plant-based diet since May 2018 and I have adapted some of my favourite recipes so they are now vegan. I have cooked this for family and friends and they have loved it just as much (if not more) than a chilli with beef mince in it! I actually prefer the flavour of this chilli and it is full of nutritional goodness! Hope you enjoy. Please let me know if you try it!
I recently subscribed to Gousto which is a food delivery service. They portion all of the ingredients you need to prepare and cook delicious meals from their website/app. This results in no food waste and they are super quick to make as well (my meals only took half an hour each). I will be talking about my meals and the Gousto box service in this post!
This week Deliciously Ella released The Plant Based Cookbook. I pre-ordered it and mine actually arrived Wednesday, a day before the official release. I am really inspired to cook more plant based meals now from receiving these amazing recipes and along with her YouTube channel, app and podcast I've definitely had an overload (in a good way) of Deliciously Ella this week!
