Netflix + TV Shows (No Spoilers)

I have been watching a lot of tv shows lately on Netflix and that I've bought on iTunes. I don't tend to watch live television anymore or use a satellite service... Instead I stream via services such as Netflix, Now TV, Prime Video and iTunes. I own quite a lot of content through my iTunes purchases over the years and I occasionally buy an iTunes Pass to see the latest series after they air on TV. There will be no spoilers in this blog post either - just my opinions on the programs and an overview about what the show is about!

Off-Grid Living

The biggest thing I am considering with my own tiny house project is living off-grid. There are many different elements to think about and I have covered some in this blog post. There are far more considerations when building a tiny home than the ones included in this blog post but I believe these are a good start! I haven't researched enough into each of these yet but I will be learning as time goes on and throughout the project.

Social Media Update

After a much-needed break from consuming too much social media, I've decided to change how I use networks! For those of you who don't know I decided two weeks ago to have a 'Social Media Cleanse' where I unfollowed all accounts on Twitter, Instagram, Google Plus, Tumblr and Snapchat. I still posted on social media using the apps but I didn't look at other people's posts for this time.

Social Media Cleanse

With so many posts being published on social media every day it is sometimes hard to resist a scroll through. This is something that I have been conscious of the past few weeks and I realised that I would spend up to an hour of my day scrolling through Instagram alone! I have decided to have a couple of weeks away from social media consumption to see how it affects my productivity and mindset. I will still be posting as usual with my updates but I have dedicated apps for this sole purpose of posting not consuming.

 Apple HomePod Review

I've had my HomePod for a few weeks now and had plenty of time to get to grips with it. It's safe to say in a very short summary that I love the speaker! I purchased the Space Grey HomePod and has it shipped to me on the day of launch, Friday 9th February 2018. I had preordered the speaker as soon as I could on the Apple website as I've been eagerly awaiting the launch! It was delayed from the original December launch date but in hindsight that was probably a good thing in regards to finances with the holidays!

Apple Release iOS 11 Today. This is the biggest iOS update to date and will improve the way we use our devices. This update to iOS 11 is available on Tuesday 19th September 2018. To download the latest software follow the prompts on your iOS device or navigate to Settings > General > Software Update. In this blog post I will be summarising some of the keyupdades before getting to use the software myself and review it later this month.
