My journey to a minimalist life
I'm going to be posting about my summer camp experience this year to let you know about working in the USA on a J1 Cultural Exchange VISA. I worked at camp in the summers of 2014 and 2015 and this brought my total time in the USA (including holidays/vacations) to over a year! It's amazing to think that I'm only 25 years old at the moment and I've spent that much time in the USA, covering 12 states throughout my travels.
I went to see Ed Sheeran last week on the opening night of his Cardiff shows at the Principality Stadium (still feels weird not calling it the Millennium Stadium). He had four shows there from Thursday 21st June to Sunday 24th June. His support acts were Jamie Lawson and Anne Marie who were also excellent. I had to speak about it in this blog post and share the images I have as well.
This is the second part of my blog post about my time in America this May. After leaving Des Moines I flew to Chicago where I changed to fly to Richmond. We were delayed on both flights and it was with Delta (not a great first experience!) They have sent me a $150 voucher if I choose to use them again though! I was so glad to get to Richmond and it was close to midnight before we got back to Adam and Michael's house.
I travelled to the USA this May to attend a wedding of two of my friends who met at summer camp. I decided to make it a 2-3 week long trip and see other friends along the way! I've split this blog post into two as there is a lot to talk about.
For the Early May Bank Holiday weekend we went to London for sightseeing and to visit the Warner Brothers Studio Tour. We had a lovely time away and did so much in three days. I've popped a brief summary of what we did on each day in this blog post and some images from our weekend away as well.
