1000 Interviews Completed!

Hi, hope you are well. I haven't posted in quite a while and wanted to start blogging regularly to document everything going on in the world right now. I am working on some longer blog posts about the current global pandemic and how this has affected life for so many people but to begin with I saw that I had three drafts from earlier in the year that I wanted to share.

Summer Camp Music

Summer Camp Music

Music is a key element to working at a summer camp in the USA. There are many songs that are deemed inappropriate to play which can make things a little tricky. Each camp has their own policy on what can and cannot be played at camp but I've created a playlist to help you this season in America. When I worked at summer camp I compiled a list of songs that were child-friendly and that the kids there loved! I played this music for all ages ranging from five years old right up to seventeen. Hope you like it!

Why Apply for USA Summer Camp?

Why Apply for USA Summer Camp?

I've spoken about working at summer camp before on my blog but I wanted to focus on some key elements of why it is one of the most valuable jobs you will ever have. There are so many reasons why you should work at a summer camp and I don't think I'll be able to cover them all in this post but I would love to hear what you think are the best aspects - please let me know if you've worked there before!

USA Summer Camp

USA Summer Camp

I'm going to be posting about my summer camp experience this year to let you know about working in the USA on a J1 Cultural Exchange VISA. I worked at camp in the summers of 2014 and 2015 and this brought my total time in the USA (including holidays/vacations) to over a year! It's amazing to think that I'm only 25 years old at the moment and I've spent that much time in the USA, covering 12 states throughout my travels.
